I need audio-visual and/or microphone support for a University event

AV equipment support can be provided for University hosted conferences and seminars. The Interactive Technologies team in IT Services can assist you with your audio visual (AV) requirements, including support of AV equipment at University hosted conferences and seminars, as well as Microphone support for University events e.g. Orientation, 3 Minute Thesis (minimum 7 days notice required).

Book a video conference

Videoconferencing is available between internal and external sites and between video-conference units and telephones. You must book the room separately. Booking your video conference is a two-step process.

STEP 1

Book the venue via the relevant booking process for the room.
Eg. Scientia Room Booking system, UNify (email), or by contacting the room owner.

STEP 2

Book the video conference – Please click here to  request this service through the IT service portal. Video conference support is available please list your requirements in your request.

You will receive an email to confirm your booking.

If you need to cancel a scheduled booking, email videoconf@newcastle.edu.au as soon as possible.
