UON provides staff with various telephony options to suit their needs and our latest service offering is a softphone. Click the link above to find out about softphone’s great features and how to get one.

All staff are provided with unique telephone extensions and a voicemail box with messages delivered to your email inbox, if you are located at:

  • Newcastle campus (Callaghan)
  • Newcastle City precinct
  • Central Coast campus (Ourimbah)
  • Sydney CBD
  • Tamworth Education Centre
  • Taree MEC
  • HMRI

Phone profile setup information

If you’re a new staff member, you will need to make sure you’ve set up your phone profile to enable your unique phone extension, voicemail and caller ID details. Please click here to request this service in serviceUON.
