MyHR
MyHR is the University's HR information system, providing managers and staff with secure, self-service access to manage personal details, leave and other employment-related activities.
As a staff member, you can:
- View and update your personal information - Update contact details, home address, qualifications, bank and tax details.
- View salary details.
- Check leave balances - view current balances and project future leave availability.
- Submit and track leave requests.
- Manage probation and PRD/APP forms - View and update probation and performance review documentation.
- Explore the organisational chart.
- Submit a resignation.
- And much more.
As a manager, you can:
- View team details.
- Access position and incumbent information - includes historical data.
- Initiate reporting line changes.
- View team leave in a centralised calendar.
- Approve or reject leave requests.
- Access essential workforce data reports.
- Manage probation and PRD/APP.

HRonline
HRonline is a module of Ascender, the University's payroll management system. It provides staff and managers with secure access to payroll-related functions, including timesheet submission and payslip viewing.
As a staff member, you can:
- View payslips - Access current and historical payslips.
- Submit timesheets - Enter and submit your work hours.
- Request leave - Submit requests for Flex leave, Time Off in Lieu (TOIL), and Long Service Leave.
Note: To request Long Service Leave at half pay, submit this form Long Service Leave Application.
As a manager, you can:
- Manage timesheets - Review, approve, or reject submitted timesheets.
- Manage leave requests - Review, approve, or reject requests for Flex leave, Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) and Long Service Leave (LSL).
- Submit timesheets - Enter and submit your work hours.
- Request leave - Submit requests for Flex leave, Time Off in Lieu (TOIL), and Long Service Leave.

Ascender
Ascender is our staff management system. It stores information such as:
- staff personal and job details
- payroll
- budgeting
- leave processing
- superannuation
- executive salary packaging
Staff with significant administrative roles may need access to Ascender.
To request access to Ascender, please log into Service Now, and select Add or change access to an HR System. Access to Ascender is through a shortcut on your computer's start menu.
Access to the reporting tool Extend is available by logging a request in Service Now. To login to Extend, click here.
Managers can access statutory and ad hoc reports on the data stored in Ascender. To request a report, please log into Service Now and select Access a HR data report.
