You can make a disclosure to the University six ways:

You can login using your staff details and fill out an identified online form, which will go through to the Campus Care team.

Campus Care will provide you with support for any immediate needs, and then connect you with Human Resource Services for further support.

Within Human Resource Services there a small number of trained and trauma informed staff responsible for managing reports of gender-based violence, sexual assault and/or sexual harassment.

Staff will be able to provide you with guidance around accessing support, as well as what to expect from making a disclosure.

You can fill out an anonymous online form, which will go through to the Campus Care team.

Campus Care will triage your initial disclosure and direct it to Human Resource Services for further assessment and management.

Please note that anonymous reports do not collect contact details, which means the University may not be able to follow up with you directly.

However, your report can still help inform the University’s understanding of the prevalence and location of gender-based violence and sexual harm incidents.

You can also enter an AIMS notification (hazard or incident).

Non-academic misconduct report

You can also start the formal investigation of a student, by reporting allegations of non-academic student misconduct. You can make a report here.

Other support

If you would like to access support, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers FREE, confidential counselling for all for University employees. They provide:

  • Crisis support: Available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week via phone +61 2 4926 5005
  • Face-to-face: In Newcastle CBD or via affiliate rooms regionally
  • Via telehealth: Phone or secure telehealth link

The University is committed to providing support to staff members who experience domestic and family violence and abuse, and this includes access to paid leave, counselling and flexible work and other arrangements. More information about these support measures can be found here.
