Staff complaints
As a member of staff at the University of Newcastle, you can make a variety of complaints including about the conduct of another staff member or a student, such as bullying, harassment, discrimination, or research integrity.
There are different avenues for making a complaint, depending on what it is about.

Workplace grievances
You can voice concerns about behaviour of staff occurring in the workplace or matters relating to your employment or engagement with the University.
Sexual assault, sexual harassment and gender-based violence
Victim-survivors, witnesses, support persons or those aware of an incident can make a disclosure.
Wrongdoing (Public Interest Disclosure)
You can report incidents of corruption, maladministration, waste of public money or information access non-compliance.
Student misconduct
You can report allegations of concerning behaviour, academic, or non-academic misconduct involving a student.
Research conduct and integrity
You can report concerns of research conduct involving students, researchers, research supervisors, or other staff.
General complaints
For complaints that do not fall into the above categories.
