Help with your studies
At any point in your studies if you have concerns or questions please do not hesitate to ask for help. You can head to ASKUON at any time and type your question in to find an answer or you can go into a Student Central location to speak to a staff member.
Our team of Student Progress Advisors are here to help support your academic success. Our Academic Program Advice team can provide guidance on your student visa compliance. They are available at the Student Central locations. We have help available to all students at UON, please ask.
The Global Office is our dedicated international student team. They are always available to help you, or put you in touch with the right people, no matter where you are in your student journey.
Some of the things the Global Office can help you with include:
- A postal address for your mail while you first secure your residence while in Australia.
- Finding the right social program or student group to help you balance your free time with studies.
- Understanding official documents and letters related to your studies or student visa status.
Find the Global Office Reception
The Global Office Reception is located on Callaghan campus in the Hunter Student Hub SC3.08, next to the NUSA Building (G-12 on the campus map). There is also a team member available at our Central Coast campus.
- The office is open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
- International Scholarships Team drop-in schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 2pm to 4pm.

A part-time International Engagement Officer is located at the Central Coast, Ourimbah Campus. The International Student Advisor is located in the Ourimbah Integrated Support Service – H-8 on the Ourimbah campus map.
