Building and Facilities Maintenance
Facilities Management is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, services, and infrastructure for most facilities on the Callaghan campus, Newcastle City precincts and Ourimbah campus of the University. The costs for this maintenance are centrally funded.
Please note that Internet Explorer is the required browser for all Maximo Service Requests at this stage. Users will need a valid UniID and password to proceed.
To report a defect, a Maximo Service Request should be submitted online.
Callaghan Campus and Newcastle City precinct
Emergency Work requests such as a broken water main or loss of electrical power should be phoned through to the maintenance workshop on (02) 4921 6506 between the hours of 7:00am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Notification of Emergency Work outside of these hours is to be phoned through to Security on 492 15888.
Central Coast Campus
Emergency Work requests are to be phoned through to Facilities Management on (02) 4348 4665 between the hours of 8.30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Notification of Emergency Work outside of these hours should be phoned through to Security on (02) 4348 4222.
