In order to see you as quickly as possible and get the support you may need, the Counselling Service offers brief, initial appointments booked on the day.

These initial appointments are with a Student Support Adviser for a 20 minute interview to assess your current situation. After the interview they may book you in to see one of our counsellors or connect you with other services that are better able to help you address whatever difficulties you are experiencing.

There are two sessions available on:

Tuesday to Thursday from 10 to 12.30pm and 2 to 3.30pm.

Clients will be seen on first come, first served basis. There are a limited number of appointments available so please arrive early in order to try and secure an appointment. We will start allocating the appointments from about 9am for the morning sessions, and from 1pm for the afternoon sessions. Please come straight into the office and register your interest at reception.

If you are an existing client of the service you may request an appointment directly with your counsellor, however if it has been twelve months since you have seen a counsellor, you will need to be seen by a Student Support Adviser.
