      Registering with AccessAbility is an easy process. We do require an early notification so we can arrange the required adjustments to your studies, so be sure to register early!
    
    
        
        If you are an online student or are studying at a campus other than Callaghan/Ourimbah, please contact us.

How to register
There are two easy steps for registering:

            Provide documentation
        
        
    
    Download the Medical Practitioner Report Form below for completion by your medical practitioner, OR provide other supporting documents in order to verify the existence of your disability or medical condition.
Relevant practitioners can include but are not limited to:
- General Practitioner (GP)
- Ophthalmologists
- Audiologist
- Psychologist
- Neurologist
- Neuropsychologist or Clinical Psychiatrist

        Please note documentation must:
        - be clearly dated and completed using the Medical Practitioner Report or on an official letterhead
- clearly indicate a diagnosis and the expected impact on your studies
- be written in legible English and signed by the relevant practitioner
- have been completed within the last month for temporary disability, or in the last six months for fluctuating disabilities. A recent date is not essential for a permanent disability unless the situation changes.
You can return the PDF forms either by email at AccessAbility@newcastle.edu.au or in person at the Callaghan Campus, Student Services Building, Room SC212 between 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.
