The University of Newcastle is proud to partner with the Newcastle Jets for the 2023/2024 A-League Men’s and Women’s seasons.
Like the Jets, we aren’t simply located in Newcastle – we're made of Newcastle. And we believe in our community. Whether it’s our sporting community, united by a fierce passion for the game, or our University community, brought together by curiosity, optimism, and a vision for a better world.
The University of Newcastle partners with the Newcastle Jets to support the Hunter Schools Sports Association in delivering the 5-a-side Football Championship. This event brings together Year 7 and 8 students from schools across our regions to battle it out on the pitch.
This partnership also creates unique opportunities for our students to engage with Newcastle Jets players and be inspired by their skill, dedication and spirit. We are supporting a team that lifts our community up. A team that inspires us, motivates us, and makes us feel proud to call Newcastle home.
