Developed in collaboration with mental health experts, higher education professionals, and university students and staff, this interactive, online toolkit takes a positive, preventative approach to help students maintain their mental, physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. You can access these modules anytime via CANVAS.

Mental Health Online

Mental Health Online provides comprehensive online services and evidenced programs free of charge. If you’re experiencing mental distress, Mental Health Online can help you understand and address your needs through self-assessment, self-help and, if you choose online professional support.

THIS WAY UP

THIS WAY UP provides self-paced online courses that teach clinically-proven strategies to help you improve the way you feel. THIS WAY UP is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing under the Telephone Counselling, Self Help and Web-Based Support Programs.

Navigator: Taking care of you

Navigator is a website featuring articles and videos created by University of Newcastle students for University of Newcastle students. The ‘Taking care of you’ category is dedicated to ensuring you have your best possible uni experience, with advice on how to stay on top of studies, maintain your mental and physical health, and tips on how to unwind after a stressful day.

Mindspot

Funded by the Australian Government, Mindspot offers free online and over-the-phone courses to help adults living in Australia manage issues such as depression, anxiety and stress.
