About Research Committee
The Research Committee (RC) is a subcommittee of the Academic Senate, chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research ad Innovation).
The Committee provides oversight of research and research training across the University, and serves as the principal advisory body to the Academic Senate on all matters relating to research quality, impact, ethics, integrity and academic standards.
The Committee also supports the implementation of the University's Looking Ahead Strategic Plan, particularly the priorities and objectives articulated in the Research Plan.

Research Training Subcommittee (RTSC)
The Research Training Subcommittee (RTSC) is a subcommittee of Research Committee.
The RTSC advises the Research Committee and the Dean of Graduate Research on strategic policy, planning and quality assurance in relation to research training matters and informs the Research Committee on existing, new or revised research higher degree programs.
