Undergraduate - Internal Transfer
Current international students can apply for an internal transfer to move from one University of Newcastle undergraduate program to another or between campuses.
* The request to change to these programs can be submitted via the below form, and will be assessed as new applications through the selection process for the next available intake.
- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Diagnostic Radiography)
- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Nuclear Medicine)
- Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Honours) (Radiation Therapy)
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)
- Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)

Postgraduate Coursework - Change Program and/or campus
Current enrolled international students seeking to change from one postgraduate program and/or campus to another can submit an application for the new program via this form. In accordance with the admissions manual, the change of postgraduate program request will be assessed as a new application for the next available intake.
Students at Singapore Campus
The students studying at Singapore campus can also use this form to apply to change program and/or campus from Singapore to a campus in Australia or online study.
To change between programs at Singapore campus or to change campus from an Australian campus or online to Singapore, please contact Singapore Admissions team (Singapore-Admissions@newcastle.edu.au).
Key application dates
Final application dates to change program for Semester 1/ Trimester 1 2026 :
- Applications open: Monday, 25 August 2025
- Applications close: 11:59PM, Sunday, 30 November 2025
- Outcomes released from: Friday, 12 December 2025
- Acceptance close: Friday, 02 January 2026.
Important fee information
The scholarship to the target program will be assessed based on the Terms and Conditions. The scholarship awarded to your current program is not transferrable.

Eligibility
This form is intended for current continuing University of Newcastle students who wish to change from one program and/or campus to another within the University. Your eligibility may depend on both your current program and the program and/or campus you wish to change into. Approval will be subject to:
- vacancies in the target program;
- lodgement of the change application by the cut-off date;
- the student meeting all published admission requirements and selection criteria for the target program;
- the applicant meeting the inherent requirements of the target program; and
- assessment against the Genuine Student (GS) criteria in Ministerial Direction 106
Students applying for the Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts and/or the Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts / Bachelor of Arts must also complete the additional entry requirements before being assessed for admission to these programs.
Applicants should complete the Music Selection Process as early as possible, and by the specified audition closing dates.
Before being considered for admission to the Bachelor of Nursing, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) requires all applicants to demonstrate a high level of English proficiency in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) English Language Registration Standard.
To do this, students must do one of the following as part of the change application:
- Provide an English language proficiency test accepted for entry to the Bachelor of Nursing and completed no more than two years before the program commencement date. You will need to achieve specified minimum results set by the ANMAC and NMBA. You must provide a colour or certified copy of your test result.
- Declare that you are currently registered as an enrolled nurse or registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Nursing and Midwifery (AHPRA). You will be asked to include your AHPRA registration number.
Upon graduation and application for registration as a nurse in Australia, you will also need to meet the English language skills registration standard of the NMBA.
