Bikes can be stored in one of the two types of bike storage racks available. It is your responsibility to ensure your have secured your bike to the racks. The racks cannot be reserved and they are allocated on a first come basis. Any locks left on racks without bikes will be removed.
The lockers are individually pin protected by your own unique chosen 4 digit pin. Follow the instructions on the lockers to open and close the lockers. The lockers are programmed to automatically unlock at midnight every night. Please ensure you have removed your personal items prior to this time.
End of Trip Facilities
Unisex showers and toilets are available within the hubs.
Hours of operation
The facilities are available 24/7.
Access to the bike hubs is via a valid student ID card. CCTV cameras also operate outside the buildings and the facilities are included in regular campus Security patrols.
It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your bike on campus. Here are a few tips to protect your bike and reduce the likelihood of its theft:
- Use a D lock or other high end security device
- Lock both wheels and the frame when using outdoor bike racks
- Do not leave bikes out overnight or on weekends
- Remove all accessories such as helmet, light, pump, drink bottle etc
- Engrave your bike with your licence number or other unique identifier to aid in the identification and recovery in the event of theft
In the unfortunate event that your bike is stolen, report it immediately to campus Security and the Police.
The University has implemented reasonable measures to minimise the incidence of theft or damage to bikes on campus, however it does not accept responsibility for these events if they should occur.
Bike Love Corral operates out of Bike Hub East. The Bike Love Corral entrance is located on the opposite side of building from the main entrance directly in front of the car park.
The workshop provides bike servicing and hire and is a great meeting place for other bike riding enthusiasts.
