In short, no. The Know is an official student service designed to keep you informed about important updates related to your program, as well as upcoming events, opportunities, and key dates. Our goal is to make sure you have everything you need to get the most out of your time at university.

Can clubs and societies add events to The Know newsletter?
University of Newcastle clubs and societies can promote their upcoming events through the University of Newcastle Students' Association (UNSA). Please get in touch with UNSA directly to share your event details and explore promotional opportunities.

Can businesses promote through The Know?
No. The Know is an official student communication channel of the University of Newcastle and is reserved for University-related information and opportunities.

Managed by the Student Information team in Student Central, The Know shares essential updates and opportunities with students each week of study periods. University of Newcastle staff are welcome to submit a news or event item to share in upcoming newsletters.

All submissions must meet eligibility requirements, including being a University-endorsed event or student-focused initiative.
