Staff Consultative Committee
The Staff Consultative Committee (SCC), comprising University, union and staff representatives, is a forum for consultation on matters pertaining to the employment conditions of staff, including the ongoing implementation of our Enterprise Agreements. The SCC is not a deliberative committee.
Membership and Terms of Reference
Membership is comprised of representatives of the University, and relevant unions in accordance with the applicable Enterprise Agreement.
The SCC meets on a 2 monthly basis. Additional meetings may be held as requested.
Specific matters and reports to be considered by the SCC are set out in:
- Clause 40.25 of the University of Newcastle Academic Staff and Teachers Enterprise Agreement 2026; and
- Clause 46.25 of the University of Newcastle Professional Staff Enterprise Agreement 2026
