While studying at the Hunter School of Performing Arts, Luisa spearheaded social justice campaigns, raising community awareness of the importance of diversity and acceptance.

Luisa is also co-founder of The [Y] Project Newcastle, a youth-run, non-for-profit initiative empowering young people to discuss and respond to social justice issues and raise money for local and international charities through live music events.

Influenced by her family and Samoan community, Luisa has also gained insight into poverty and social injustice at a global level through travel to several developing countries.
