The University of Newcastle has over 30 Graduate Certificate offerings, designed to allow you to further advance your current career or embark on a new one. With the option to complete in just 6 months, these short courses also provide up to 40 units credit into relevant Master's degrees upon completion. Some of our short course offerings are part of the programs offering government subsidised places, meaning eligible students can get a discount on course fees. Future of Work Scholarships
BHP and the Department of Education, Skills and Employment are offering Future of Work Scholarships to cover the remaining cost of the student contribution fees for eligible short courses. It is available to students who are currently enrolled or considering enrolling in one of the short courses listed above. You must be based in one of these regions to be eligible:
- Upper Hunter Region in New South Wales, Bowen Basin and Mackay in Queensland, Upper Spencer Gulf and Roxby Downs in South Australia, and the Pilbara and Goldfields in Western Australia.
