What you will study

The program consists of the following core courses:

  • Foundations of Professional Prescribing and Patient-Centred Care (PHAR6201)
  • Advanced Clinical Decision Making and Professional Prescribing (PHAR6202)
  • Advanced Clinical Management of Acute Conditions (PHAR6301)
  • Advanced Clinical Management of Chronic and Complex Conditions (PHAR6302)

The two prescribing courses (PHAR6201 and PHAR6202) are currently under accreditation review by the Australian Pharmacy Council to ensure they meet national standards. The two advanced clinical practice courses (PHAR6301 and PHAR6302) build the broader clinical and therapeutic knowledge essential for prescribing in current and emerging practice settings.
