EQUIS
The Newcastle Business School is EQUIS accredited. The EQUIS accreditation measures our performance against rigorous international standards which validates the high quality and professional relevance of our education programs and research.
AACSB
The University of Newcastle’s Business School (NBS) has received international acclaim for its programs through accreditation with the international accrediting body Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
PRME
Newcastle Business School is an advanced signatory of Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). We are committed to participate in the PRME initiative.
AMI
The Newcastle Business School Master of Marketing program is accredited with the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI).
AHRI
The Newcastle Business School Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management major) and Master of Human Resource Management programs are accredited with the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI).
ACHSM
The Newcastle Business School Master of Health Economics Management and Policy (MHEMP) and the Master of Health Economics Management and Policy Global (MHEMP Global) Programs have been accredited with the Australasian College of Health Service Management for an initial period of two years 2022-2024.
CAUTHE
The Newcastle Business School has an ongoing affiliation with the Council for Australasian Tourism and Hospitality Education (CAUTHE). This affiliation assists the school in continuing to deliver high quality Tourism Education and Research.
Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
The Newcastle Business School Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting major) and Master of Professional Accounting programs are accredited with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
CPA Australia
The Newcastle Business School Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting major) and Master of Professional Accounting programs are accredited with CPA Australia.
CFA institute
The University of Newcastle has been welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. The Master of Applied Finance has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice within the program. This program position students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, which has become the most respected and recognised investment credential in the world.
