Short Courses in Cyber Security

The University of Newcastle has partnered with Cisco Networking Academy to deliver two short courses in cyber security:

Introduction to Cyber Security

• This instructor-led, beginner level course can be undertaken online at your own pace in around 15 hours
• The course is offered as part of the University of Newcastle's ACSRC Cyber Security Training Program
• Explore cyber trends, threats & more
• Available to enrolled UON students and the broader community

Cyber Security Essentials

• This instructor-led, intermediate level course in cybercrime and network protection can be undertaken online at your own pace in around 30 hours
• The course is offered as part of the University of Newcastle's ACSRC Cyber Security Training Program
• Available to enrolled UON students and the broader community
• Enrol here

Cyber Security Operations

• The course focuses on how to monitor, detect and respond to cyber security threats. In addition, covers host-based security analysis, security monitoring, computer forensics, attack methods and incident reporting and handling.
• This instructor-led course is offered as part of the University of Newcastle's ACSRC Cyber Security Training Program
• Available to enrolled UON students and the broader community
