The Centre for Applied and Responsible AI (CARA) brings together a multidisciplinary team of 20+ researchers. We apply a deep expertise across AI, human-computer interaction, optimisation, data science, robotics, cybersecurity, and digital health.
We collaborate with industry, government, and the community to translate advanced AI research into real-world, responsible solutions.
We are leading and contributing to projects across many industry sectors including health, defence and energy. Our work focuses on applying responsible AI in high-impact, real-world contexts where trust, safety, and innovation are critical.
