Our projects are as diverse as discovering new species, understanding the drivers and impacts of climate change, developing organic electronics with massive potential for the next generation of environmentally friendly energy sources, through to the treatment of disease.

Research quality in the Faculty of Science is rated “well above world standard” - the highest possible rating - in many individual disciplines, as well as in the overall fields of Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences, and Psychology and Cognitive Sciences (ERA 2018).
