Campus Care

Campus Care operates as part of the University Health Service and provides information, advice and support in managing inappropriate, concerning or threatening behaviours.

Employee Assistance Program

We offer six free confidential counselling sessions a year for staff and their families to discuss personal and work related issues.

Manager and Supervisor Counselling

Managers and supervisors can call an Employee Assistance Program manager or senior psychologist to discuss, or get assistance on, people management issues.

External organisations

You can take your complaint to an external agency such as the NSW Ombudsman, the Anti-Discrimination Board or WorkCover NSW.

Your mental health

Positive mental health allows you to lead a more enriched life and perform better at work. We offer a range of mental health support options.

Sexual misconduct and harassment

University of Newcastle takes all allegations of sexual assault and harassment very seriously. Detailed information is available for staff affected or to whom disclosures are made.
