UON Fulbright Scholarship success
Two University of Newcastle researchers and one Graduate will be awarded prestigious Australian-American Fulbright Scholarships at a Gala Presentation ceremony at Parliament House on Tuesday 27 February 2018.
Dr Andrew Gardner, Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, School of Medicine and Public Health (pictured right), has been awarded a Postdoctoral Scholarship and Associate Professor Jed Duff, School of Nursing and Midwifery (pictured left) has been awarded a Professional Scholarship. Ms Anna Evans, BEng (Hons) (Chem) / BSc, has been awarded the Anne Wexler Scholarship in Public Policy.
Andrew will use his Scholarship to visit the Football Players Health Study (FPHS) at Harvard Medical School and Jed’s Scholarship will enable him to meet and interview the creators of the Iowa Model for Evidence Based Nursing Practice. During Anna’s program, she will undertake a Masters of Public Policy, specialising in energy.
