CEEHE RESOURCE NOMINATED FOR AWARD
The My Big Tomorrow website has been recognised globally after being nominated for Best Collaborative Project in this year's Net Awards.
The Net Awards is in its 16th year and recognises the best in web design from around the world.
A strong collaborative team lead the development of My Big Tomorrow, including the Centre of Excellence for Equity in Higher Education at the University of Newcastle, Newism and the Village of Useful.
Throughout 2014 these organisations worked together to develop the resource that aims to help high school students better understand their career choices and the tools and skills that can help them get there.
Voting for nominees is open to the public until July 13 who will decide the top five projects that proceed to the finals.
My Big Tomorrow was funded by the Higher Education Participation Program (HEPP) and was launched earlier in 2015.
The site profiles 93 careers with relevant pathways and information along with education modules specific to each career.
Finalists will be announced on August 1.
