Central Coast Campus
The University’s Central Coast Campus – Gosford Central provides a state-of-the-art facility to enhance education pathways and add to the ongoing revitalisation of Gosford’s CBD.
Along with our Clinical School and Gosford Hospital nearby, the new, world-class building in Gosford, provides a vibrant and safe place for students to study locally and build their skills without having to travel long distances.
The $67.3 million Central Coast Campus – Gosford Central is located in the heart of Gosford, close to business, public transport and amenities, and reflects the University’s long-term commitment to investing in the Central Coast and its people.
The new campus was completed in November 2025 and jointly funded by the University of Newcastle ($31.3 million), the Australian Government ($18 million), and the NSW Government ($18 million) using land provided by the NSW Government's Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation.
