This program provides a strong foundation in data wrangling and visualisation, database management, programming, and statistical analytical skills. We ensure accessibility for students without prior computing experience.
Through directed courses such as predictive analytics, applied artificial intelligence, big data, data mining, cloud computing, optimisation, and business intelligence, students can tailor their learning to complement their core discipline.
This program comprises of 240 units, with 80 units to be taken from data science courses and 160 units to be counted from your primary degree program. The data science courses will be taught by expert teaching staff within the School of Information and Physical Sciences.
This program does not offer direct entry. Students must undertake this program through concurrent enrolment with another program. This arrangement is currently offered in conjunction with:
