New Partner in Employability Award
This award is for an industry, business or community partner who is a new contributor to the employability of University of Newcastle students and/or graduates.
Their engagement may be through Work Integrated Learning, undergraduate or graduate recruitment and/or contribution to curriculum delivery aimed at developing students’ understanding of the professional workplace and its requirements.
Selection Criteria
The nominations for the New Partner in Employability Award will be judged in terms of:
- engagement through Work Integrated Learning, undergraduate or graduate recruitment and/or contribution to curriculum delivery
- demonstrated contributions to the employability of University of Newcastle students and/or graduates
Eligibility
Nomination is open for all registered businesses, industry or community partners who have partnered with the University of Newcastle within the past three years.
For a nomination to be eligible a nominator must be a business/industry/community partner, University of Newcastle staff member or current student.
