Family Responsibilities
At UON, we provide study opportunities to all capable students, including those with parenting responsibilities.
We understand that occasionally you may need to bring children to class or that the needs of children may impact your ability to study.
If you are finding it challenging to juggle your home and study responsibilities, the Equity and Diversity Unit and the Dean of Students can help you come up with some possible solutions.

Breastfeeding rooms
We provide comfortable and private facilities for parents which have a baby change table, nappy disposal unit, microwave, fridge, sink and comfortable chair. These facilities are in the following locations:
- Hunter Building: HC09
- Richardson Wing: RW 1-31
- Auchmuty Library (opposite L326)
- Sydney campus: ELI120
