April 2015 storm
On the night of Monday 20 April, a severe weather event caused significant damage to and the subsequent closure of the University of Newcastle's Callaghan, Ourimbah and Newcastle city campuses.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
