With significant shortages in the mental health workforce in Australia, there is a need to look at how mental health and wellbeing is supported at the community level and in the work environment.
This program offers students the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of mental health and wellbeing; to provide skills to respond to mental health issues; and foster wellbeing in organisations and the community.
You will undertake high quality, non-accredited training in mental health and wellbeing, gaining relevant certifications, and helping to meet community demand.

This program is unique in providing the ultimate flexibility for students; scaffolding micro-credentials (5-units), through to a Graduate Certificate (40 units).

The National Skills Commission projects employment for the “Health and Welfare Support Workers” and “Carers and Aides” categories to increase by 137,800 positions (17.5%) by November 2026.
Students will have the opportunity to gain key certifications dependent on course selection.
This program also includes courses that are seeking UNITAR-CIFAL certification.
