You will learn about Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS), Earth observation (EO), spatial data acquisition and data management, as well as spatial data analytics. You will become competent in specialised GIS and RS software and workflows, gaining practical skills analysing unique data sets; from dronesto global earth data products.

You will undertake simulated consulting projects whereby you will work together or individually to solve problems in the spatial sciences (eg. the causes of a major bushfire).

Please note: Students who commence in Trimester 1 or Semester 1 will take a minimum of 1 year to complete the program. Students who commence in Trimester 2, Semester 2, or Trimester 3 will take a minimum of 1.5 years to complete the program.
