Using Your Military Experience

If you're using your military background, make sure to have your ADO Service Record (long version) ready. You should also upload any other documents that show your skills or studies like AQF Diplomas, university transcripts, or proof you meet subject requirements.

Upload these documents with your application to avoid delays. Files must be PDFs under 5MB.

How to Get Your ADO Service Record

To get a copy of your ADO Service Record (long version), contact the Customer Service Network by calling 1800 333 362 or emailing yourcustomer.service@defence.gov.au.

In your email, include at least three of the following details:

Full name
Date of birth
PMKeyS/Service number
Place of birth
Former name (if you had one)
