Your safety is our number one priority. At Student Living, our residents are supported by 24/7 Campus Security services. This includes dedicated After-Hours Duty Officers, CCTV cameras, key and swipe card access into residences and rooms, and an on-call University security shuttle to get you around campus after dark.
After-Hours Duty Officers
Our After-Hours Duty Officers (AHDOs) provide after-hours support to residents, focusing on student safety and security, engaging with residents and maintaining the Student Living community standards. Together with the Student Living and Campus Security teams, the AHDOs work to provide a safe and inclusive environment and ensure support for all residents.

Thursday, Friday: 4:00pm - 3:30am
Saturday to Sunday: 8:00am - 3:30am
24/7 Campus Security
The University provides trained security officers to help ensure you and your property are safe on campus. These officers are here 24/7, 365 days a year. Services provided by the Campus Security team include first aid and emergency response, vehicle and foot patrols, CCTV monitoring, safe walk service and operation of the Callaghan Campus Security Shuttle service.
