Research
The PRCHB is a large, multi-faculty research centre, bringing together a number of separate research groups to harness their combined wealth of research expertise. PRCHB members are leading innovative projects across a wide variety of disciplines, including psychology, public health, medicine, nutrition and dietetics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, epidemiology, statistics, health economics, population health, law and information technology.
In 2017, our group was able to achieve
- Over 540 peer reviewed publications
- $7m in externally funded Research Grants
- 9 examples of research findings being translated into practice or policy
In addition to the above, in 2017 we had
- 6 RHDs complete their studies
- Over 40 RHD students working on their studies
- 30 Post Doctorate Research Fellows
