Public Transport
The Newcastle City Campus consists of NUspace, located on the corner of Auckland Street and King Street, the Q Building at Honeysuckle, the Conservatorium of Music, University House, Northumberland House and Newcastle Legal Centre all located along Auckland Street. The campus has strong transport links, making it an ideal location to catch public transport and explore Newcastle's Central Business District.
Bus
Buses service the City from all across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and the Lower Hunter.

Train
The Hunter train line stops at Warabrook station (located at the back of Callaghan Campus behind The Forum and Oval 3). If you are a staff member or student you can choose to hop off and catch the free NUspace Shuttle into the city. Alternatively, the train terminates at Newcastle Interchange, with the connecting light rail to get you to the City Campus and around Newcastle.

Light rail
Newcastle light rail runs from Newcastle Interchange in Wickham to Newcastle Beach in the East End. With six convenient stops, including right out the front of NUspace, light rail is a modern way to explore Newcastle's city centre. The turn-up-and-go service operates from 5am to 1am, seven days a week.
The best light rail stop for NUspace and Q Building is: Civic. The Civic stop is directly in front of NUspace and a short walk to Q Building.

Ferry
Newcastle Transport operates the ferry between Stockton and Queens Wharf.
The ferry operates from:
- Monday to Thursday from 5:00am to 11:00pm
- Friday and Saturday from 5:00am to Midnight
- Sunday from 8:30am to 10:00pm
