Congratulations to the inspirational Academic Women in Leadership 2019 cohort
The 17 participants of this year’s Academic Women in Leadership (AWiL) Ignite Program graduated on Friday 11 October.
The AWiL Ignite Program, an Athena SWAN and Senior Academic Women initiative, aims to develop senior women to navigate their academic careers within a complex university system.
Through building their leadership knowledge and skills and increasing their confidence through coaching and networking opportunities, women are empowered to take up leadership positions across our University and progress through academic promotion.
This is the second year the program has been facilitated by Terri Soller (top right of photo), the MD of Conversus Leaders. Terri is a highly experienced organisational development practitioner, leadership consultant and executive coach who specialises in exploring and developing women’s leadership within and outside the university sector.
