Drones to predict where water pipes are at risk of bursting
With leaking and burst water pipes costing water authorities and consumers time and money, as well as wasting a precious resource, researchers at the University of Newcastle are developing drone technology to help predict which areas, and even which specific pipes, are at risk of water loss through corrosion.

'Hardlines’: My life in bad behaviour: an exhibition by Professor Mario Minichiello
Internationally acclaimed Political Artist, Illustrator and Designer, Professor Mario Minichiello, from the School of Creative Industries is holding an exhibition of his work in early March. The exhibition presents drawings, paintings, and printmaking taken from a range of topics in a career spanning over 30 years as a professional artist.
