Faculty of Science’s 'Woo, NEW, and You!' event was a huge success - filled with fun, education and laughter, the event exponentially increasing student interest in mathematics and statistics.

The global impact and quality of the University's research has risen, with 95 per cent now rated ‘at or above world standard’, according to a rigorous and independent international benchmarking assessment.

Early research findings have indicated that a simple blood test may provide a more accurate way of identifying aggressive prostate cancers, which could result in more immediate treatment for men with high-risk disease and reduce unnecessary procedures for men with benign or low-risk tumours.
