The Dragon Boat Festival in 2026 falls on Friday, 19 June. Recognised for its rich cultural significance and its connection between humanity and nature, the festival was inscribed on UNESCO’s “Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity” in 2009.
To celebrate this special occasion, our Chinese language teachers have created a video tutorial showing how to make a charming paper dragon boat.
The vibrant excitement of dragon boat racing lies at the heart of the festival, symbolising unity, perseverance, and a shared spirit of moving forward while carrying the best wishes of the season.
