Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) offer immediate phone interpreting service 24 hours a day, every day of the year by calling 131 450.
You can call TIS National for the cost of a local call throughout Australia. The majority of TIS National interpreting services are free to non-English speakers.

Coercive control is when someone repeatedly hurts, scares or isolates another person to control them.

Family Safety Pack
The Family Safety Pack for men and women coming to Australia. It includes information on Australia’s laws regarding domestic and family violence, sexual assault and forced marriage, and a woman’s right to be safe.
The Family Safety Pack is translated into 46 languages.

eSafety has legal powers to help protect people who live in Australia from the most serious online abuse and harmful content. This includes cyberbullying of children, adult cyber abuse and image-based abuse (sharing intimate images without the consent of the person shown).

Exploitation and modern slavery resources
Modern slavery refers exploitative practices, that undermine a persons’ freedom and ability to make choices for themselves. These practices include trafficking in persons, slavery, servitude, forced marriage, forced labour, debt bondage and deceptive recruiting for labour or services.
