Report Concerning Behaviour
From 1 January 2026, the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence sets required standards for how universities prevent and respond to gender-based violence.
The University of Newcastle has zero tolerance for gender-based violence, sexual harassment, sexual assault or any behaviour that compromises safety, dignity or wellbeing.
We are committed to a trauma-informed approach that prioritises safety, choice and support. All students have the right to study and participate at our University with safety, trust, equity and respect.
