Our student community
Respect at Uni is built on strong engagement with our student community. By listening to and working alongside students, we strengthen our approach to preventing and responding to gender-based violence, as well building a culture of safety and respect within our university community.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
