Through COMP3851A and COMP3851B you will work on a project related to the fields of computer science and information technology. The work will be undertaken in an organisation (industry, research groups, labs) or as an innovative proposal that has been approved by the course coordinator.

This direct experience will offer exposure to the project management practices of managers and/or researchers. Under supervision and in a group work environment, you will undertake a minimum 240 hours of work with an appropriate organisation involved in computer science, data science, and/or information technology related areas.

Project and placement opportunities will be published on the Canvas course site on a rolling basis. At the start of the semester, you will coordinate with and submit applications through your course coordinator.
