Health and Medicine
Clinical placements in accredited health professional degrees at The University of Newcastle allow you to experience working in your chosen professional, while being supervised by experienced professionals, and developing a wide range of clinical skills.
Placement is a compulsory requirement for graduation in an accredited health profession, and you will be required to undertake a set number of placement hours and/or placements in a variety of settings.
Please refer to the Student Professional Experience Policy and your program handbook for more information regarding the placement requirements of your degree.

Clinical Placements
Clinical Placement lets you experience what it's like to work as a health care professional in real-life situations. It is important that you complete the necessary preparation to ensure that your placement is successful.
