Exercise Sport Science and Exercise Physiology

Practicum is a type of career-ready placement, sometimes referred to as Work Integrated Learning (WIL).

Practicum is an opportunity for you to apply the knowledge and skills you have gained from your degree within a range of work environments. Your practicum will allow you to practice your skills in relevant situations and to appreciate the variety of professional roles in the field. This professional opportunity also allows you to observe and experience how theoretical knowledge and skills can be applied in a vocational setting.

Program Practicum Requirements
Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science 140 hours of suitably supervised practical work as defined by Exercise and Sport Science Australia must be completed to graduate from the program.
Master of Exercise Physiology 360 hours of compulsory practicum must be completed, spread across three separate placements.

For additional information, please refer to the Exercise and Sport Science and Exercise Physiology Professional Experience website.

Please note:  The discipline of Exercise and Sport Science is currently transitioning to the College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing.
