MOOC - Contemporary Approaches to University Teaching

This teaching induction course provides key introductory learning and teaching concepts and strategies for those who are in their first few years of university teaching. The self-paced course is comprised of 11 expert-developed modules plus specialty modules and documents.  This course has been developed by a team of colleagues from 18 Australian universities and one university in the United Kingdom.  This MOOC is being hosted by Swinburne University.  Participants can enrol in the course anytime throughout the semester.  Enrol Now

The Educator Network

The Educator Network (tEN) aims to promote collaboration, innovation and excellence. Teaching Resources

Learning Design and Teaching Innovation have teaching resources available.

The Teaching Continuity website has been designed to support staff teaching from home, providing simple suggestions and tools for addressing common teaching and learning tasks, with links for getting started or accessing support in their use.

AccessAbility (Disability Services)

These resources assist academic teaching staff in their teaching and support of students with disability and medical conditions. UoN programs and courses need to be designed to be inclusive and accessible for all students including those students with disability. Read more.

Discover

Discover is an innovative staff learning and development portal that provides access to a range of blended learning opportunities for staff and enables simple, self-directed learning. Programs and courses range from Orientation for new staff, Health and Safety compliance training, Research Advantage and Teaching and Learning programs through to Leadership Development and Wellbeing.
