Australia Awards Scholarship
Tuition, the cost of teaching, is the main fee that you will pay to the University. International students pay a deposit fee when they accept their offer to study at the University of Newcastle. The deposit will first be allocated toward Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and the remaining amount will be put toward the first term’s tuition fees and the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF). The price of tuition varies for each student, based on your level of study, program of study, and the individual courses that you take. The deposit may not cover the full cost of your first term of fees.
The University of Newcastle is pleased to announce a new Study from Home Fee Waiver for commencing international students who cannot study in Australia due to border closures. Do not delay your study plans – start studying online and complete your studies in Australia when borders open. For students who commence studies online and offshore, we are offering a discount of up to 20%.
Our team are here to help you during these uncertain times. We are happy to answer any questions you may have through our online enquiry form or you call us on +61 2 4913 8300.
The discount will not be in conjunction with scholarships.
The discount is applicable whilst studying offshore and online, full fees are applicable once borders open.
