Pathway 3: Arrange a Placement with a New Industry Partner

This option allows you to source your own host organisation, provided the role aligns with your degree and specialisation.

How to apply

1. Identify a suitable host organisation.
2. Email workplacement-nbs@newcastle.edu.au with:
– Host contact name
– Host website
– Specialisation targeted
– Your name and student number
– A short (100-word) description of your desired role and goals
3. Await formal approval. Do not contact the host until you receive the host pack.
4. Once approved, follow the instructions provided in the host pack to proceed.
